Central clearing house

In November 2000, the Québec government established a central clearing house with Les Publications du Québec to simplify the procedure to be followed by individuals, companies and institutions wishing to use government material

The central clearing house aims to harmonize the processing of copyright requests and foster efficient management of government intellectual property. In that regard, Les Publications du Québec issues authorizations that allow interested parties to use information contained in documents and Websites produced by departments and public bodies, and to reproduce laws and regulations disseminated by the Éditeur officiel du Québec.

Departments and public bodies are encouraged to consult the Website, in the section concerning them, to find out more about copyright standards.

The main objective of the central clearing house is to ensure the integrity of government material disseminated by third parties.
